Empire Bag Spa has cared for luxury bags, shoes and leather goods in Jakarta since 2009. What started as a specialist service for luxury pieces has grown into two official stores and three partner drop points across the city, and a community of thousands who follow our work on Instagram.

For more than fifteen years we have worked on the pieces people care about most: everyday handbags and investment pieces, wallets, sneakers, heels and loafers. Over that time we have learned how different leathers, linings and finishes behave, and how much a small detail, like a cracked handle edge or a worn logo, changes how a bag feels to carry.

How we work

Every piece is checked by a person before any work begins. We look at the leather, the condition and what you want from it, then choose the treatment for that item rather than a one-size routine. Before we start, we confirm the treatment and the final price with you. If something looks different once the bag is in our hands, we tell you first.

Our eight treatments cover cleaning, edge restoration, colour work, waterproof coating, hardware polishing and chroming, and repairs. For the most valuable pieces, including Hermès, we use Premium handling.
